I have been having this wierd issue lately. Occaisionally my car is very hard to start, It is not a cold start issue or a hot start issue. Sometimes it fires right up, I'll drive for a bit and then shut it off, when I try to restart it cranks for a good 10 seconds till it fires up. Funny thing is that I know when it is going to act up cuz when I turn the ignition on I can't hear the fuel pump buzz. When it starts normally the pump will buzz, also when it does'nt start and then finally does, my radio will reset as if the batter had been disconnected. Things I have checked are, battery cables, starter, alternator, coil packs, ptu, efi harness has less than 3k on it so I know it aint that, MAF, coolant temp sensor, o2 sensors, vtc's, all fuses, cas, I don't know what to do anymore, I have code 55. Also when it does'nt want to start, the first time I turn the key the engine barely makes one rotation till it eventually starts cranking. I know this might sound confusing, but that is how everything is happening. The only thing I did prior to this situation occuring was change my water pump, completely remove my a/c system, and bypass my carbon canister. Almost everything in my engine bay is brand new, including my short block from kyle, the only old part is the plenum and the heads. Someone pls give me some insight before I go crazy!!!!!
